Titanium 750ml Mug / PotTitanium 750ml Mug / Pot

If you are looking for an all in one lightweight Titanium Cookset to save you weight and money, then look no further than this bundle put together just for us.

Titanium can be very expensive, but the weight saving advantages can be incredible and this entire coolest totals a mere 160g!!

So what do you get?
We have sold loads of the fantastic little Fly Ti Titanium Stoves this year, and I used one myself on the '3 Men in the Cairngorms' trip during Autumn 2010. What can I say? Light, tough, reliable and very, very powerful. It has three folding prongs to support the pot, however it does require either a flint and steel or lighter to ignite it.

The Tibetan 700ml Mug/Pot is the perfect size for a good meal or a very large mug of tea (largest practical capacity 600ml)! Made from .4mm Titanium it is tough and reliable.

The lid has draining holes on the top and so is ideal for everyday use. I've been using mine with my wood stove for over a year now and it has become a firm favourite, especially during the evening and 'tipple' time!

So how do people use this kind of combination?
For some people, this is their entire cooking and eating kit. Maybe add a folding spark (which also nests in the pot along with a gas cylinder) and a pot cosy kit, and you have all you need to cook, simmer, keep warm and eat/drink your food.

Okay, practicalities first. The Tibetan Titanium Mug heats rapidly and you have to be careful not to burn your lips or fingers when lifting it from the heat. The way people get around this is to place some of our heat shrinking material on the handles and lid, (gently remove them using pliers, add the sleeve, shrink it and pop them back on again). To prevent lips from burning, people have found that a Charity Silicone Wristband is the ideal size to slip onto the lip of the pot. Thus saving your lips and all for a good cause too!

Finally, pot cosy material can save you an incredible amount of fuel. So instead of simmering and using gas, bring the food to the boil and slot it into a custom made cosy. It'll keep food piping hot for 15 minutes and prevent anything burning on the base of your pot.

The only other item you may want to add to your set up would be some folding feet for the gas cylinder, as this increases stability

Used this on a hike last week in France (Vosges) and it met my expectations! Enough water for my meals and a hot drink. Water is heated very quickly and kept very hot for a long time!

A winning combo!

A very light combo that also accommodates a 100g gas cannister. (I also put in a few tea bags and some powdered milk in a couple of small sandwich bags to stop the items moving around in the mug). Quick, light, easy.
