| The latest incarnation in the Luxe lightweight series of teepee style tents which offer numerous options in configuration for more than one person. The latest option is a Double Inner, which would then leave you the other half of the tent for storage and cooking. If the consideration is to be lighter then I have tried it with 2 walking poles linked together and this works fine, strong and stable. However once again it will flex when under heavy tension. All in all I think this offers users a fantastic super stable shelter for a whole variety of uses. It is supplied with seam sealer and instructions as to where to apply it, if needed.

20 April 2022 | David Bought this tent pre COVID and have been waiting to get to Wales for a couple of years. After a lot of research this tent certainly looked the best weight to space ratio. Took the family consisting of 2 adults and 1 child away for 6 nights. We purchased the tarp pole and additional guy lines. Although I used the tarp pole I also tried my Leki walking poles and doubly secured them with the tents own velcro strap, the walking pole solution was more than adequate for the conditions we faced. The tarp pole was an extra 500g of weight I could have left at home. The additional guy lines I placed at each corner and this bolted the tent to the ground. We also purchased additional titanium pegs and this was money well spent. This review has not been appraised.
23 July 2021 | Chris Just come back from 4 sweltering days in one of these. We were really grateful for the straight-through ventilation option. It coped well with a random cloudburst also. Moreover, the other week it went to Skeggy to house three teens on a post-GCSE holiday, demonstrating that it can also cope with less experienced users. Pleased to have got this, an excellent tent. 25 March 2019 | Patrick Very happy with this tent, having used it a couple of times now. The amount of space is superb for the weight and pack size - I think its almost unique as a backpackable truly family size tent. When walking as a family of five we've previously used two three man tents, each of which weighed as much as the octopeak. So this purchase has enabled us to halve the weight of tent we carry. And despite officially sleeping four it will fit five, on five adult-sized sleeping mats, though admittedly there's not much space for anything else once everyone's lying down! The pyramid shape has been as good as people say at shedding wind in some very squally conditions in the Cairngorms. Seam sealing was straightforward with the seam sealant included, though was slower to dry than I was expecting (about a week of airing indoors before I was happy to roll it back up). Any downsides? Well, the vestibules are ok for keeping your boots out of the rain, but are just a little bit small for cooking, in my opinion. However, its easy enough to guy out the bottom corner of the door to leave a space which is sheltered, if not completely enclosed, in which to brew up from inside your sleeping bag. So overall, I'd thoroughly recommend this tent to anyone wanting lightweight accommodation for a family of up to five on the move. 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.
15 May 2018 | Matthew Coming from a Shangri-La 3 I've used this type of tent extensively for the past 10 years. Easy to pitch, tensioning on the pegging points is superior to the Go Lite and allows for excellent tensioning. Interior space is large and should easily provide enough space for my wife and two young kids (the main reason I bought this tent over the smaller version). 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
23 April 2018 | Martin Unbelievable interior space for the pack size / weight / price. It fits easily in a rucksack with our other gear, so it's going to be perfect for our family of 4 to go camping without needing to be close to the car. It's also plenty big enough to hang out in if the weather turns bad; in particular the headroom makes it incredibly practical vs other "family" hiking tents which can only just squash 4 people in like sardines. Seems very well made to boot. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
30 June 2017 | Colin I recently used this for the first time at the York Cycle Rally and found it to be ideal. With the V4 inner I could sleep and store my panniers within the inner. For security I could also fit my bike in the tent, simultaneously using a chair. Two bikes were stolen at the rally so keeping the bike in the tent is more of a deterrent than laying it on the floor at the side of a small tent. The weights are good for such a spacious option. I would recommend this set up highly for cycle camping. 11 of 11 people found this review helpful.
