The Leanweight Multisport Compressor (MSC) is a useful accessory, but not many, if any websites explain how to fit it correctly to ensure it gives you maximum performance.
First attach the MSC to the UGR, then take the cord through the lower tabs and place the slide lock between them and tie a knot at the lowest point. Then run the shock cord through the tabs and once installed, you'll find that when you pull on the lower knot, the whole MSC will compress against the pack.

I ordered this because I like having a stretch mesh shove pocket on the front of my packs but unfortunately this did not work as I'd hoped. It's very fiddly and tricky to fit properly and, to be honest, feels too small for the Jirishanca pack. The idea is good but I don't think it works - also the instructions (even on this site) didn't really help. I still ended up with a fiddly mess of bungee cord getting in the way - not how I like my pack to be.

it's not clear how to tie these things up. I actually think the images on this site are not quite right, I just hook them around my bags clips and it allows me to carry extra stuff. OMM should really do a fitting guide.

This is a great little piece of kit, affixed to my new OMM Adventure 45+10 (see below): small, feather-light and, although yes it can hold helmets and wet tent gear, for the more sedate walkers it is the ideal size for waterproof maps too. Personally, I would not consider getting a OMM rucsack without one of these. Many thanks to Bob and Rose for delivering both already attached for me too. Great service!
