The storage and carrying of glasses (normal or sun) on/in a rucksack can be a bit of a pain. Where do you put them, in your pocket, in the hip belt pocket (if you have one) in the side pockets, the top lid?
To solve the problem we have these dual purpose pockets which fit most shoulder harnesses and can be used for certain sized glass cases, GPS, or mobile phones.
This means they are always within reach of your hands when looking at the map, or using your camera. It also means that when you remove and put on your rucksack, your glasses will be safe and sound and not fall out and break.
The pouch capacity is approx 160mm x 55mm x 25mm. 6 inches x 2 1/4 inches x 1 inch.
There are two simple 25mm split rings on the back of the pouch, which will slide through most shoulder harnesses and straps.
The pouches are not waterproof so for safety's sake it would be worth putting the phone/GPS or similar in a waterproof bag during inclement weather.
