An upgraded sack from the original orange Villain also featured on this site which comes with the MSC (Multi Sport Compressor), which can house a cycling helmet underneath it, and your waterproofs inside the net bag, allowing them to dry off when wet.
The more subtle colour is popular with many, and the expanding neck allows the sack capacity to increase to take a full load when stocking up with food on days away.
As with most of the OMM range the sack is slim-line in profile and makes it ideal for scrambling as much as a day pack, or multi-day hiking pack.
Certainly very comfortable, with a variety of options which would cover use in most adventure racing sports as much as general backpacking. The side zip gives you access into the sack and due to a inner dividing 'fin', means it houses the hydration bladder in the perfect place for quick refill.
Don't forget like the other Villain, you can replace the 'platform' frame with a 3/4 Thermarest folded into the same pocket, which saves space and cushions your back for an even more comfortable journey.
Simply put, a light all round sack and one which will easily cope with virtually any trips at any time of year.
