 I'm really excited by this new find in the US, which we've exclusively imported into the UK!
This is the same aluminum foil material which comes with the White Box Stove and makes the perfect windshield.
What makes it so exciting? It is extremely thin and therefore extremely light. The supplied 500mm x 300mm sheet is 63g! It can be cut with scissors, torn by hand, hole punched with an office punch, and any sharp edges can be bent back with your finger tips.
It holds its shape as a large item, but really I see this as being very, very popular with users of the Triad or similar meths stoves, or esbit/hexamine cookers. It won't last forever, but it will easily give you a season's use before you need to replace it.
Therefore you can custom make the perfect windshield for any cooker, which has two advantages of being (a) very light, and (b) able to be folded down and stored in your mug or cooking pot.
