 Another product which took us by surprise (along with the waterproof rucksack) and makes a lot of sense for those who use bumbags for day walks or running.
The belt has padding and is REMOVABLE, so you can use the waterproof bag on it's own.
The main waterproof compartment is approximately 5lt reducing to 3lt when rolled down. It has a small wallet sized zipped compartment on the front.
On the belt itself is a mesh water bottle pocket and a further small zipped pocket, big enough for keys, GPS etc.
I see this instantly as being ideal for people carrying cameras, or any kind of paperwork which requires to be kept completely dry. Possibly personal documents or other electronic equipment.
Certainly of interest to runners, but also kayakers and other outdoors people for whom this small amount of dry carrying space is important.
Made from the same tough waterproof fabric as the rucksack it weighs in at only 240g.
Personally I will be using mine as general wallet and waterproof bag kept inside my Golite Pinnacle rucksack, so when I leave the campsite, I'll have all my stuff in one bag.
