 We came across one of these a few years ago and have not seen them since.
So far we have found it an incredibly useful piece of kit, not only for the obvious checking of maps, acting as an emergency pair of glasses, but also doing things like reviewing images on the digital cameras and even starting a fire on a sunny day!
Paper thin, super light, very tough and something you can keep to hand in your map case, pocket, camera bag etc. Ideal if you are the type of person who needs magnification in low light, or just keep losing your glasses!
So don't strain your eyes, just keep one of these nearby.
