This set of three hand made leather bags have been produce for us by a friendly local craftswoman, and as the first batch sold out within 2 days at this year's Bushcraft Wilderness Gathering, we decided to commission some more.
Made from lovely soft cow hide, the texture and organic nature complement the practical everyday use, and we saw those at 'the gathering' using them for coffee, dried food, fire lighting gear, cord, wash kit, nick-nacks, clothes and everything else!
They come as a set of three and measure, two at 11cm in diameter, and the largest 15cm. Heights are 16cm, 21cm and 27cm.
As per any leather bag, they are not waterproof, but very durable. The base has been reinforced slightly and so won't 'sag', and the neck cord is hand cut to a good length.
They certainly are an attractive bag set, and every female we show them to, picks them up, smells them and then brushes them against their cheek! This is somehow given as a sign of approval I understand!!
Not out of place in the rucksack of any backpacker or hiker, or even those traveling further afield who want to show a bit of class when unpacking their gear in front of others.
At this price for a set of three, I'm sure these will be very popular.
