I always loose mine, and I'm sure I'm not alone.

However we see another use for them, when using the 16mm Extender Tube to link a pair of slim line poles together to support your Shangri-la 3 or Hex 3 tarp tent.
You don't want a sharp end to go through the roof or the floor, so these rubber ferrules will protect your gear.
