01 May 2023 | Dean I recently bought the new Terra Nova Northern Lite 2 tent, with the official footprint. The tent has a feature where you can use your trekking poles in the vestibules for additional storm bracing, however, the original footprint covers the vestibule floors, which means you either have to roll up the footprint, or the trekking poles will pierce it. 18 February 2017 | Michael Just used this up Moelwyn Mawr. It is MUCH cheaper than a branded footprint for my ageing Hilleberg, but exactly the right size. Doesn't really add any weight to the tent, but provides an extra barrier, and feels much more secure. a definite 5/5 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
13 February 2017 | Carl I used this for the first time this weekend, super light, used under a rab ridge raider bivvi, great protection and an added ground layer on hard frozen grass in -5 conditions in the Lake District, great durable product that has been added to my wild camp kit list 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

10 January 2017 | John Bought to take weight out of the tent. My excellent Quasar 'Lightweight' has needed a additional ground sheet protector (356gm inc bag...£45) which sort of misses the point. The Tyvek (at 145gm and smaller) has done just that at modest cost. Size is similar so should work well. First trip end of January into W Lakes. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
09 October 2016 | Mark ive had the tyvek groundcloth for a few years now ,, mostly use it for hiking in spain and portugal < it suits rough stoney ground, in places with little rainfall, as its not waterproof (thoi have used it as an emergency tarp) i was amazed at its abrasion resistance and general toughness for its weight, though not invincible and can be punctured by roots and thorns but gorrilla tape is easy fix ..will be buying another 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.
