You can imagine the scene. On the beach, or with your bushcraft buddies and it's time for a brew, or better still a BBQ. Out pops this neat little flat pack and within seconds, it has transformed into an 8 inch square cooking sensation. In goes the fuel, out comes the burgers, and a big cheezy smile spreads across your face! For the very few who don't like the 'clicking together' of the Honey Stove, this could be your ideal solution. Vargo have these available in Titanium and Stainless, and if this is too big, don't forget their folding Hexagonal stove which is also available in the same material options. Like all of these woood burning stoves, you will need to consider what is underneath to prevent scarring. We've found a combination of a plumbers brazing mat and some windshield to be pretty good. We are still working on that though. Other features include:

25 July 2020 | Martin I have this and have used it several times. It's designed for 4 BBQ briquettes and steaks, chops, and has no secondary function or use. This review has not been appraised.
12 August 2016 | Ian I purchased this a while ago, I love that it packs flat and the whole thing is connected so I can’t lose any parts. Upon my first use I had to put a safety pin through the latch that holds it all together not a big issue. the problem is that there is not that much room to put your charcoal or wood and the grill pretty much has to come down otherwise it loses its shape a pain with food on the grill, a couple of tent pegs through the bottom does counter this but it is still a delicate process. If you lift up the grill there is gap between the sides of fuel area, sometimes it comes apart a bit to much and i have to tip the embers on the ground (not what I want to do) & wait a short while for it to cool and reasemble. I recently ordered the honey stove, the little door is great to be able to put fuel in without disturbing the top grill. I have the honey stove now and this will be a back up or extra cooking space. This product is not bad but the honey stove is another league, especally for the same price (nearly) 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
28 July 2014 | Lee Just a quick note to say im very impressed with the firebox, ive not had chance to try it out yet but build quality is very good and I suspect it will give me many years service. Also the service from Bob and Rose is 1st class! 1 of 2 people found this review helpful.

07 January 2014 | Jim Bought one of these a bit over a year ago and am so impressed with it. Strong sturdy design. It sets up in literally 2 seconds maybe 3 if your hands are cold. Folds away in the same amount of time into a small flat package. Seems as efficient as other burners, can fit a couple of pans on the grill which sits steadily in place and flips up when you need to add wood. Brilliant design all round. I've had most the grills going and think I'll be sticking with this for quite some time. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
