We are active outdoors people and have been fortunate to be invited to get behind the scenes of many outdoor suppliers, manufacturers and key story makers in the industry.

In this blog we will update you with some of those stories, about people, products or places which you may find entertaining and add to your coffee break!

If there's any juicy gossip to hear about, this is the place to find it!

Relocation, relocation, relocation

Relocation, Relocation, Relocation!

As some of you may know from listening to our Podcast series, we have recently moved home, still keeping within the beautiful Malvern area, but managed to do it just in time for Christmas. (Phew!)

Now that we have more space, the natural progression is to move the business lock, stock and barrel under the same roof, ready for whatever 2017 throws at us.

As this coincides with all things Christmassy, we have put together a series of festive deals from now until the end of December (while stocks last) to help us reduce the boxes we have to move at the end of the year. Therefore we have;

1) Created a few special price starter bundles for Pocket Stove and Honey Stove wood burning fans (Stainless and Ti)
2) Gone through our storeroom and compiled a list of items with a massive 25% discount of SRP, tents, bivis, pot, clothing, accessories, you name it!
3) Bundled a series of products together for a special price, for select Rucksacks and Tarps
4) Until Xmas there's a free Pot Cosy kit with every pot/pan sold, plus
5) We have started the first in a series of competitions on The Outdoors Station Podcast to win outdoor stuff!!

Stock is limited, so once certain products have gone that will be it. All the full listing can be found on our Promotions page, and as you add your products to the basket the extra deals will appear.

To enter the competition to win Novembers prize, a twin Ti Pan Non-Stick 1300ml and 1900ml set from Evernew SRP £135, pop along to The Outdoors Station website.

At the end of December we will probably close for a short while as we regroup and organise a new structure. Full up to date details and contact information will of course be on the website nearer the time.

Thanks once again for supporting us this year. We have enjoyed our 3 years at this location, however now that we have the space it makes more sense for us to be based at home for many reasons.

Bob, Rose and Christine

The Outdoors Station podcasts and videos have been produced on a more regular basis of late and I am trying to release something every week to feed the hunger for entertainment and inspiration for self powered travel in the outdoors.

Along with a new logo and website, we have also introduced a fresh Newsletter page, where you can register your advance interest for the special news which we are moving towards and make suggestions as to people you would like to hear more about, or small UK cottage manufacturers, as well as places of interest. It's proving very popular, so sign up today!

Well that's it. As you can see we have been busy and if you take time to listen to the podcasts you'll hear why. We do have big plans for The Outdoors Station in 2017 and those who keep in touch will not regret it when the time comes. We all know what is coming next, so we wish you all the best in squeezing in the last few camps before the end of the year. Don't forget you could be the owner of a sexy Titanium pan set before Xmas, by entering our competition.
