| We say - 'love your bum!' We saw another Challenger use this at every rest stop during the 2 week Scotland crossing and she kept this in one of the outer pockets of her rucksack. She was always sitting comfortably long before we managed to get the foam seat out of our packs and was ready to get back on the trail equally as fast!

13 April 2021 | Nick The Prolite Seat is a compact means of ensuring a cushioned and dry backside! Rolling up into a cylindrical shape and secure with an integrated bungee it fits easily into the external bottle pocket of a backpack. Inflation is simple, open the valve and let the air fill it up, top up with a couple of breaths if required. No issues at this early stage of ownership. Quick and excellent service from Backpacking Light. This review has not been appraised.
16 August 2016 | Sim For the so few grams, deluxe comfort This review has not been appraised.
22 April 2016 | Simon The layer of air and foam keeps your cheeks warm in winter. It's maybe a bit on the bulky side for day hikes if you care about the last few grams. This review has not been appraised.
02 November 2014 | Mark Sat on a plastic tarp for years as cushioned seats seemed a bit like being indoors.Saw my mates seat then got this and it will never leave my pack, your bum will thank you next time it snows. This review has not been appraised.
06 October 2014 | Kirsten Got this more as an extra bit for my Prolite Plus, or to use as a pillow or under any achey/sore bits. Used my loyalty points but would have hesitated if I'd had to pay full price. Nice kit though! This review has not been appraised.
14 November 2013 | Alan Keeps your backside warm and dry out in the field. Quite small and easy to use. Orange on one side and grey on the other so in a survival situation it can be used as a signal. 0 of 2 people found this review helpful.
09 April 2013 | Bryan I've been using 'karrimat' type pads as seats for years. However having seen a friend use one of these I was tempted to get one. I've used it on the snow covered Lakeland fells recently and it's been excellent. Packs small (which is the main reason I got it) but also is very comfortable and insulates better than the 'Karrimat' pads. 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.
