Tyvek has proven itself to be a useful material to make various items from which are light and durable for the lightweight backpacker.
We have purchased a roll of Dupont Tyvek 14 and produced a range of test items to see how well it performs. Initially it feels slightly stiff, but soon softens to the touch and is so light you have to physically look at it to confirm you are actually holding in your hand.
At only 140 microns thick and a Hydrostatic head of 9000, makes it ideal for backpacking items and therefore we can make various items to order such as; bags, groundsheet protectors, covers and so on. Contact us directly if you need a quote.
These pots bags have been made to fit a generous range of pots and to allow extra space for the cosy and will carry easily the MSR Kettle, Solo and Duo cookset, Optimus Weekend Cookset, the Toaks, 750ml, 900ml, 1100ml, the Zebra 10cm and 12cm pots and many more.
The bag has a max diameter of 14cm and a height of 20cm, so if your pot is less than 15cm tall the bag will encapsulate the contents with ease.
The weight is an incredible 10gms and most of that is the slider.

Got this for my largest pot (Toaks 900ml) and there is still room for a 230gm gas canister. Like the fact that the Tyvek has already been washed and so it is not like a crisp packet anymore.
