| These Nalgene Canteens are often talked about and they prove to be very hard to get hold of. Wide necked, light, flexible and best of all super easy to fill and carry. We had some a few years back and after years of nagging Nalgene in the UK we now have more. Where they come into their own is those long camping nights where you don't want to be heading out for water time and time again. The larger 3 lt bottle will see two people through a meal and several brews for one night easily. They sell like the preverbal hot cakes, so if it works for you then get one in your shopping basket now. In two sizes 1.5lt/48fl oz and 3lt/96fl oz.
Weight 1.4 lt - 64g To clean; the wide-mouth allows easy access and you can use a scrub brush with warm water and mild soap or baking powder. We also find Milton's Sterilizing Fluid (or similar) does a great job! We recommend you leave the cap off during storage.

23 April 2015 | Colin bought as a water carrying solution for mountain marathons and wildcamp situations (and genral camping I guess!) used once so far in Ennerdale - great device it folds down enought o slide out the way in side pack and weighs very little - despite the large aperture and lid, but easily fills from a stream and supplied enough water for the overnight and breakfast without a refill needed from the water source. looking forward to using this again 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
20 October 2014 | Erik Can take boiling hot water, just remember to squese out som air if not filled all up. Can take a bitt of pressure. Going to use it as a heatsourse in my sleepingbag if i need too, Then I need a fleece bag to put it in mabye? I got the 1.4L. This review has not been appraised.
