DD Hammock Sleeve

This product finishes the Hammock off nicely. Stops it from getting damaged or muddy on floor etc. put the Hammock into a small tube shape so it's easy to pack away after use. LIKE IT!

Used with DD Travel hammock. Nice fit. Does exactly what it says on the packet. Would reiterate Mark's advice from earlier. If you leave it on when suspended, make sure it is covered by the tarp and down stream of your drip rings.

This is a good way of keeping hammock and bug net together and allows for quick and easy setup and packing.

One word of advice... The first time I used it in heavy rain I left it bunched at the tree-end of my suspension and by the morning it was full of water and pretty much useless soif you leave it on the suspension make sure it's well covered by your tarp and the right side of your drip lines

Great little accessory. Although not really needed it makes putting the hammock away and getting it out MUCH easier/quicker plus less likely that it'll get dirty/wet touching the ground. Tag onto your order to save postage.

I bought one of these a while ago for my hammock, works amazingly for keeping it dry while your sorting the suspension or storing it once set unto give you more room under your tarp.

I bought a second one for my tarp and it works equally well. Set up is now very quick, keeps a wet tarp away from your dry stuff so it can b e packed in your bag. Don't be sucked in to the mesh sleeves, they do not dry the tarp on the outside of your backpack. the best way to dry the tarp is hang it up, either outside or over the shower rail. Great thing with the sleeves are you can have all your suspension already attached and packed away with your tarp.

One word of warning, DD do a Hammock sleeve xl, sometimes just listed as hammock sleeve (in coyote brown). It is huge and really designed for you to keep your hammock and insulation / tarp in. My advice, don't pack your tarp with anything that needs to stay dry and if you pack your hammock and insulation together, good luck getting that monster sleeve into your bag let alone with the rest of your gear.

I made the mistake of trying to install it at midnight the day it arrived. The wife didn't appreciate me fighting with it in bed.
It's simple to fit, just don't try doing it the first time in the dark after half a bottle of Proseco.

i bought to have it to my Exped ergo hammock. it didn´t work at all sp it was a bad buy from my Point of view
