Megahorn III (Fly only)

This our first tipi style tent, found it really quick simple and easy to pitch.
The single central pole is easy to assemble , locate and adjust, and initial pegging out easy.
Need to stoop to enter - but much easier than crawling on hands and knees.
Door zips quality is good, the hooks for keeping doors rolled back are easier than toggles/ties.
The snow skirt can be rolled out the way and tied up. Easy to fit the cap, and like the ability to adjust fitting to 'stormproof ' the top. First impressions are this is a spacious shelter that will serve us well for both summer and winter in the UK , and thanks to backpackinglight for the speedy service.

Once it was up its a great strong tent! Delivery was fast and reliable i will definately be ordering from this site again!

Purchased this to use with a wood stove and it works very well. Easy to set up, easy to install the stove, keeps the wind and rain out, but is inclined to keep visitors in when they should go back to their smaller, colder tents!

Easy to put up. Reflecting material looks great in the dark.
The 6 straps are to wide for the alloy Y Stake, I put some metal rings on them and now they hold better.

Spacious well made well thoughtout tent, easy to pitch, the shade of brown blends very well, stood up well in winds whats not to like, all good in the tent hood

This tent is very good and so easy to pitch up. ive had it out 3 days in the rain and not a single drip of water leaked into this tent. i have other tents to compare this too that cost over 500 and this truly is a great choice if you need more room and head height plus to be able to use a stove is just great. the choice to use a ground sheet or not plus inner is that you have the choice to suit needs. ie summer winter ect. i am very happy with this product and have also now added the fitted bath tub floor for when needed on them wet days. supper fast response and received next day on both orders ive made. many thanks backpackinglight and will be doing more shopping here for sure. La tente : un modèle que j'ai acheté pour partir à 1 adulte + 2 ados + 1 poêle à bois en canoé . le test ( -5°C) a été tres bon, il reste de la place pour un 2nd adulte. Si on enlève le poêle on rentre sans souci à 4 : 2 adultes + 2 enfants (1m50) + le matériel. Bonne finition, pleins de petits détails très bien pensés comme le poteau central, les cordelettes, la double porte... je n'ai pas encore testé la resistance sous la pluie mais je suis très serein. Une 3 saison qui peut aller jouer en 4 saisons à mon avis. et pour un prix vraiment top !

Very easy tent to erect. Did it on my own no problem at all. It's a well made bit of kit. I wish the door was a wee bit taller so I didn't have to stop, but other than that a great tent.

Does the inner tent go over the top of the pole? I need to have another go at that. Only pitched it in the garden do far. About to fo a winter camp in the Peaks. Watch this space!

The tent is great its solid and i can tell it Will be my go to tent from now on
