| NB: Since its launch in 2013 this product has been copied many times. This isn't the lightest of the new generation of funky cool camping chairs however, it is capable of taking a larger frame, holding more weight and offers a higher sitting position than the lightweight options.
Top tip: To prevent legs sinking into soft ground/sand etc, cut two tennis balls in half and put them under each leg. Or better still purchase 4 x Large Pole Mushrooms which slip over the end poles and stop the chair from sinking. NB: Since the product launch in 2013 this design has been copied many times. Please note these copies are not as strong, durable or safe as the Helinox brand item.

24 January 2022 | Julie We are very impressed with these chairs, easy to put together. We recently bought a small camper van and needed compact chairs for easy storage. Highly recommended. This review has not been appraised.
01 August 2016 | Manon The chair has been in use for one season with me now. 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.
06 February 2016 | Kurt Every so often it's worth treating yourself to a little luxury, I was growing tired of cheap stools that break so bit the bullet and it's easy to see and feel the difference in quality. Highly recommended for comfort, pack size and price. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
11 November 2015 | Simon Perfect service as always. Chair superb and the second one I've bought. Keep them both in the car boot. Great for air shows, picnics, wild life watching etc. This review has not been appraised.
23 January 2015 | Robert this chair is amazing, sets up in seconds and for me as a larger person, its so good I nearly forgot it was a camp chair. This review has not been appraised.
29 July 2014 | David Chair one as good as we hoped light strong comfy and quick to set up it now lives permanently in car ready for instant use. 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.
22 May 2014 | Michael I love this chair. I am a bit of a slackpacker and I like having neat lightweight kit that barely fills my boot and allows me to set up camp really quickly as a base for 2 or 3 days solo hillwalking. This is great. Post walk, post dinner, stretch back, have a beer and chill. Small enough for picnics and school sports day as well! This review has not been appraised.
18 May 2014 | Iain well i got this because of its light weight and compatibility and strength, and i wasn't disappointed. i have a weak back and this chair is so comfortable. it takes a bit of getting used to and i have taking a star away as it sinks into the soil often, due to the size of the legs. to solve this, tennis balls put under the feet the stop this from happening. and they still can be packed into the bag. (saw this technique on a review on you tube) i will be trying smaller tennis balls (kong dog toys make small tennis balls for dogs, i am hopping these will improve the system greatly) 3 of 4 people found this review helpful.

18 March 2014 | Ian Excellent service, as always. Chair One is an excellent piece of kit not only to rest my old bones on when cycle touring but also to keep in the car to resolve the terrible chair problem that one finds in B&Bs and hotels. 3 of 4 people found this review helpful.
