This is a fantastic tent which has loads of useable options for the solo or duo camper or cycle tourer.

Firstly the pole sections folds down small to 45cm and so it is suitable for cycle panniers.

Secondly the internal space is big enough for 2 full length mats and still have storage at the foot or head for gear.

It pitches as one, however the inner nest is removable either completely, or just a few clips, so you can pull back the floor to reveal the ground for cooking, if you have to. Again ideal for cycle tourers and pannier storage.

As you can see from the photos, the natural condensation which often builds up in any tent is reduced by opening the zipped ventilation hatches at each end.

Quick to pitch and get taught. Peg in each corner, short poles in, Then long pole and push. Finally the last few pegs and it should be taught.

Due to the nature of the fabrics used, seam sealing is required as shown in the images. This is easy to do and a tube is supplied with the tent.

Compared to other brands who use very expensive fabrics with this shaped shelter it isn’t the lightest. However it is possibly the best value.

Seam sealing the tent

As the silicone tents are designed without seam taping, we recommend user to apply seam sealing on inside seam of flysheet and certain points on inner tent corner in order to obtain better rain proofing if the tent will be subjected to prolonged rainfall or a persistently wet environment.
