| At just 260g The DD Superlight Tarp S is their lightest rain shelter - its tiny pack size allows it to easily fit into a jacket pocket and it is ideal for a number of uses! Perfect for ground bivi camping, it provides plenty of shelter for one person and gear. It also makes a great day shelter or ground sheet, easily and quickly set up for lunch stops and rest breaks out on the trail. Due to its size, this Tarp is not suitable as a hammock shelter. For hammocks DD recommend the 3x3 Tarp. Like their entire Tarp range, the fully-waterproof DD Superlight Tarp S has 19 attachment points. Plus of course every tarp we sell, arrives with a free digital download of The Tarp Video which will enable you to learn all the knots you require to pitch the tarp perfectly first time.

Monday, 28 January 2019 | Fraser Cannot fault the team at Backpacking light at all. Product was as expected, but delivery was very fast and the customer service is fantastic. The little touches like the hand-signed note and the Tarping DVD mean I will definitely be shopping here again. The DVD has a good section on knots that we could all learn something from. Great work team, truly exceptional. 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.

Tuesday, 10 January 2017 | Michael As advertised, arrived quickly and very tiny packed. The tarp seems very sturdy and tough considering its weight. Recommend this as the lightweight reasonable price option. The size is reasonable and allows for several set up options. Brilliant service and the tarp DVD is a nice touch, as are the skittles. Will buy from here again. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

Monday, 8 August 2016 | Andrew I have this compact, light tarp for a soon planned bikepacking trip. It's the perfect size, 2.8m length allows for a closed in end offering good protection and enough room to sleep in comfort. Having used a 3x3 DD previously I knew the great flexibility of the many attachment points and having the same format in a compact solo tarp is perfect for my needs. A great space and weight saver. ***** 7 of 7 people found this review helpful.
